Wool Carding

The purpose of wool carding:

The purpose of wool carding is to protect wool, reduce damage, improve spinnability, and alleviate two kinds of friction and fracture of fibers in the textile process: one is the mutual friction between fibers, the other is the friction between fibers and processing parts, and the electrification phenomenon generated during the friction between fibers and processing parts.

And wool carding can:

1. Loosening the washed wool to loosen the fibers, which is beneficial for the next processing step.

2. Mixing raw materials which are of different ingredients.

3. Remove some impurities from the washed wool.

4. Add carding oil, water and antistatic agent when mixing raw materials.
