On June 13-14, 2023, the 2023 International Wool Textile Technology Exchange Group organized by the China Wool Textile Association continued its visit and inspection tour.
On June 13, the delegation visited the Italian Santex Rimar Group Company located in Vicenza, Italy, and its subordinate Italian SMIT Group. Ferdinando Businaro, President of SantexRimar Group in Italy, Emanuele Sacchetti, Chief Operating Officer of SMIT Group, and Ziyun Luo, Managing Director of SMIT Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., received the delegation and discussed the latest developments in woolen weaving and finishing equipment and technology with the delegation.
On June 14, the delegation went to Biella, Italy, and visited Octir Textile Machinery Company. Octir Company is a subsidiary of Otfa Group. Giacomo Meucci, the director of its Italian company, and Manager Guohui Liu received the delegation, they visited the wool spinning combing, rough combing, and semi combing equipment and had an exchange about technology development.
