Domestic industry participants centered discussions on industrial innovation and transformation, with numerous enterprises and industry associations sharing their practical achievements. Enterprises have built a digital ecosystem covering the entire wool industrial chain based on three pillars: AI intelligent weaving, digital agile production and green recycled manufacturing. Leading industrial players advance development from three dimensions-technological breakthroughs, fashion upgrading and low-carbon operations-to drive the industry's transition from basic weaving to high-value-added production. Meanwhile, the China Wool Textile Industry Association has established a national-level wool traceability platform. Powered by the "one item, one code" technology, the platform eliminates information barriers across the supply chain, addresses credibility challenges within the industry, and promotes China's digital traceability solutions globally.

Industry delegates from multiple countries shared international development experiences, with a focus on traceability standardization and ecological breeding. Nations including Australia and Uruguay have refined their wool traceability and certification systems. Supported by sophisticated pasture management and testing technologies, they have achieved full-process traceability for wool products. European industry stakeholders called for the formulation of unified global wool traceability standards. Delegates from various countries noted that the wool industry should capitalize on the eco-friendly merits of natural fibers via ecological breeding, energy conservation and emission reduction to expand value across the whole industrial chain.

The congress also delivered interpretations of retail and market trends. Merino wool consumption is seeing remarkable growth at present, with application scenarios expanding from autumn and winter thermal wear to all-season apparel, outdoor sports and other diversified fields. Outdoor brands and international knitwear labels have broken the application limits of wool garments through technological innovation, diversified scenario development and community operation. Market statistics indicate that global wool output keeps declining while fine wool prices trend upward, marking a period of structural adjustment for the industry.

Closing remarks highlighted a long-term contraction trend in the global wool supply chain, underscoring an urgent need to establish sound long-term pricing mechanisms to stabilize the industry. Chinese representatives pledged to deepen cross-border industrial collaboration, advance cooperation in green and digital textile sectors, and improve the global wool traceability system. As the host locality, Dalang Town will take this congress as an opportunity to advance the intelligent, eco-friendly and digital upgrading of its local wool textile industry and continuously strengthen exchanges and cooperation with global counterparts.

As a Special Sponsor of the congress, Zhejiang Yongjin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has long dedicated itself to eco-friendly wool textile auxiliaries. Its low-carbon, eco-efficient and highly compatible auxiliary products precisely cater to the industry's demands for green transition, quality improvement and digital manufacturing. Going forward, the company will continue to rely on technological innovation to help the global wool textile industry build a green, sustainable and high-standard industrial chain, and join hands with all industry players to forge a new landscape for industrial development.
